On entering the farmhouse via the veranda - which still has it's original stone seating - you'll find a spacious and light filled living room, that’s tastefully furnished and equipped with TV, DVD and wifi speakers.

There are three bedrooms on this level: A double bedroom with en-suite bathroom; a twin bedroom with it's original bread oven and doors leading to the pool area; and a large double bedroom with king-size bed, featuring exposed wooden beams and a lovely balcony with views to the old church. These two bedrooms share a large family bathroom.

A wooden staircase leads up to the attic 'sofita' level, where there is a charming twin bedroom set under the eaves which - due to the low ceiling – is best suited to younger guests.

An additional staircase leads down to the ground floor level, where there is a fully equipped, large country kitchen, alongside a separate dining room, a guest WC and a utility room.

For your comfort, Bourisis has air-conditioning in the bedrooms, the sofita (attic) and the living area on the ground floor.

The outside of Bourisis offers you a myriad of options to enjoy the beautiful rural setting.

From the front door, there is a covered veranda with stone seating and a view right across the valley to the old church.

From the kitchen, a little door leads out to a lovely walled garden planted with fruit trees and featuring an outdoor dining area with BBQ.

Wide stone steps with a railing lead up to the private pool (7.5m x 3m) where there are also plenty of sun loungers to soak up the rays, alongside a comfortable seating area to relax and enjoy the countryside.

Take a dip, enjoy supper al fresco, discover the restored old wine press, now converted into a gorgeous shaded day bed, or simply grab your book and head to the hanging chair for a peaceful reverie.
