“We loved it!  Bourisis is a gem.  A beautiful traditional farmhouse, renovated to a very high standard, lying within its own walled garden with the added atmosphere of goat bells drifting down through the surrounding olive groves..  It has several discrete rooms and courtyards that made it perfect for a larger group.  The family run taverna at the top of the road is a must!” David Easterfield Sept '21

"We have just returned from our first, but hopefully not last, visit to Farmhouse Bourisis. What a truly stunning property in a fabulous location. The owners have done an amazing job restoring the farmhouse, retaining many original features whilst adding some beautiful modern design touches. Having stayed in a number of villas in Kefalonia, Bourisis stands out as the best by far! We were a party of 8 people and it accommodated us comfortably. Everything about the place is fab; beautiful pool area, with lovely seating and umbrellas and many shady nooks to sit and read out of the sun - we particularly enjoyed the day bed for star gazing and saw many shooting stars! If you’re looking for a beautiful property in a quiet spot but within walking distance of the gorgeous Fiskardo then I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Farmhouse Bourisis. Yamas!"  Nina Davis August '20

"Bourisis has been lovingly restored and lies in a fantastic location; in one direction are the gorgeous coves of Dafnoudi and Alaties and in the other, and only a short walk away, the beauty and buzz of Fiscardo. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out: a perfectly sized pool and sun beds from which you can admire the view; outside dining in a lovely garden and we loved how the traditional features of the house have been used to create atmospheric spots for relaxing and drinks. Inside, the house is stylish, spacious and comfortable: traditional features throughout make Bourisis unique and the beds are so comfortable! Highly recommended." Harry Seymour August '20

Just 10 minutes drive from the chic bustle of Fiscardo, Bourisis is a haven of tranquility. Beyond the walls you have the rustic charm of an ancient Greek hamlet – all gnarly olive trees and stone ruins. Inside it’s clean, tasteful British design - no gloomy dark wood here. If you’re lucky you’ll see (and hear) the goatherd with his 350-strong flock chiming their way down the valley. Completely recommended.  Downings Sept '19

"A gorgeous house - all mod cons with a lovely pool, lounging areas in a peaceful setting minutes away from jaw-dropingly beautiful beaches.....we can't wait to return!" Pascoes July '19
